Hummus Recipe
This Middle Eastern hummus recipe is delicious and satisfying, kind of like a comfort food. It makes a healthy snack served with raw vegetables, or serve it with a healthy whole grain cracker or bread.
2 cups cooked chick peas 1/3 cup sesame tahini 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 tsp. sun dried sea salt 1 tsp. basil 1/2 tsp. cumin 1/4 cup water
Place all ingredients in a food processor and purée until very smooth.
Decorate with a sprig of parsley.
Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
